Celebrating our 45th Year!
It’s hard to believe that summer has flown by so quickly! We hope that you have had many opportunities for fun with family and friends and to create new memories. Let’s take the last month of summer to soak up just a bit more of those sunny vibes!
Here at the WMH Foundation, we are gearing up for our Annual Campaign. Letters will be going out in September to the residents and businesses of our region asking for your support so that we can continue our mission to support AHN Westfield Hospital. We know that every dollar counts these days and that we must all be mindful of our money. Every donation we receive stays LOCAL, right here at AHN Westfield. Your gifts allow us to work together with hospital leadership to bring additional services to our community which typically includes very expensive state-of-the-art medical equipment.
Over the past year the Foundation has assisted in the purchase of 8 new hospital beds which provide convenience and comfort not only for our patients, but for our nurses as well. A new TV system and wiring throughout the hospital, a brand-new tractor with front end loader for our Facilities Maintenance team, which will be especially handy during the winter months with snow removal, have also been obtained. We also helped to purchase necessary kitchen supplies. The hospital’s Bistro now offers delicious lunches that are available to both employees and visitors! Please stop by Monday – Friday between 12:00 Noon and 1:30 PM for homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches.
WMH Foundation just celebrated our 45th Anniversary on July 13th. We are so grateful to everyone that has contributed over the years to the success of our organization. We have seen so many changes in that time, haven’t we?! The internet, computers, cell phones, a pandemic, electric cars and so many advances in the medical world. 
We would not be here without YOU! Every gift, no matter the amount is important. We are truly grateful for the support we receive from our donors, the foundations who provide funding, and our communities who are always so willing to lend a hand when asked.
Thanks to all of you, we hope to be around for another 45 years!
