Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!
We hope you have all had the opportunity for R & R and to make fun summer memories with family and friends! The lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer will be sadly ending. School will be back in session for the kids and for many of us our daily routines will go back to ‘normal’.
Here at the Foundation, we are preparing for our Annual Campaign which begins in September with letters to the residents and businesses in the 14 local communities we serve. So, watch your mailbox in the next month for your letter and please support AHN Westfield with a tax-deductible gift of any amount if you are able. All gifts are gratefully accepted and used for new medical equipment and services.
As promised last month, here is the big news we alluded to regarding our upcoming “10 Days of Giving for WMH” Raffle. Thanks to the generous gift from Jillian Roache of Sojourn Travel Advisors and Kathy Archer of Full Strength Coffee we are offering as one of our ten (10) Premier Prizes a 4-day Caribbean Cruise for 2 guests with Buffalo Bills Legends from April 2-5, 2027, on Celebrity Cruise Line. Even if you are not a football fan, this fantastic trip isn’t all about the Bills, but rather a lovely weekend getaway to Key West and Bimini Beach (Bahamas) after a long WNY winter!
Also new this year we are offering GOLDEN TICKETS! These special tickets are limited to just 100 and cost $100 each. As of this posting, 30 have been sold, so it’s best to buy early if you are interested. When they are gone, they are gone! The winner will be drawn on day 1 (Nov. 16) and will have first dibs on ANY of the top 10 Premier Prizes…which includes the cruise! Even if you don’t win with your golden ticket on the first day, it will stay in the ticket drum for the rest of the daily drawings. And as in previous years, tickets remain at $20 for 1 or 3 for $50 and we will have the daily drawing for the premier prize as well as runner-up drawings.
You may purchase right now here at the hospital or over the phone by calling 716-793-2338 Monday – Thursday and we can take your credit card info and mail your tickets. We want everyone to be able to participate if possible, so we try to make it as easy as possible. But…. You’ve got to play to win!
