Raffle for ‘Stepping Up for WMH’s 80th Birthday’
‘Stepping Up for Westfield Memorial Hospital’s 80th Birthday’ is a community-wide walk/health fair to promote health & happiness for those living in the Chautauqua region.
“In addition to celebrating the hospital’s 80th Birthday, the Foundation will host another great fundraiser – a raffle for our community hospital,” said Patricia Gaughan DiPalma, WMH Foundation executive director.
“We pride ourselves on having great raffle prizes at our special events. Charitable support always has, and always will be, vital to assuring that our community continues to have access to the very best healthcare services, technology, and programs available.” The Foundation is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization.
Starting Thursday, June 29, the Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation will begin selling raffle tickets for a chance to win great raffle prizes at ‘Stepping Up for WMH’s 80th Birthday,’ to be held on September 10, 2022.
Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20 and only 500 tickets will be sold. Winners need not be present to win and are chosen the day of event.
A $1,500 gift card (compliments of Fredonia Walmart) was used to purchase the following prizes: 55” HD Smart TV – $400; Nintendo Switch – $300; Apple iPad 10.2” – $309; Apple Watch – $300 and Apple Air pods – $99. In addition, a gas grill and accessories, valued at $225, was donated by Home Depot is also included in the raffle.
The drawing for the lucky winners will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022 in front of Westfield Memorial Hospital, 189 East Main St., Westfield, NY. All proceeds to benefit Westfield Memorial Hospital.
Participants may pay via check or credit card to order tickets by calling the Foundation at 716-793-2338. A check may be made payable to WMH Foundation and mailed to 189 East Main Street, Westfield, NY 14787.
Tickets are also on sale in the Foundation office from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The deadline for purchasing tickets is 4 pm on Thursday, Sept. 8.
